The Witch is a kind elderly lady from the Magic Molly book The Witch's Kitten. She lives in the spooky woods and owns Sparkle, a black kitten who Molly helps. When Molly first met her, she was a bit frightened of her when she was looking for Sparkle. Molly befriends the witch when they talk, and Sparkle and the witch are reunited, and she gives Molly a cat-shaped locket with one of her whiskers in it so she can Sparkle whenever she needs her.
